The goal of this discussion is to determine whether Maia DAO should migrate its LPs to the Metis Uniswap V3 fork and establish the most effective migration process, contingent upon the approval of the community through a snapshot vote.
If this proposal passes, the migration will commence immediately, ensuring a swift transition to capitalize on the benefits of the Metis Uniswap V3 fork.

As the Aave launch approaches and Metis' need for liquidity increases, the introduction of Uniswap V3 aims to provide an efficient platform for hosting liquidity providers that are available for Aave liquidations. The fee switch will be activated in the next few days, with a 10% fee. Maia DAO should seize this opportunity to initiate liquidity.

We propose migrating our Maia/USDC LP to Maia/WETH to take advantage of Uniswap V3's fee tier and set a 1% fee. Since current LPs are not staked, they are only receiving 0.01% fees from Hermes vAMM. This change would increase our fees generated per volume by 100x. Additionally, pairing with WETH will reduce price divergence with the paired asset, helping to offset increased IL.
